Miss Tourism Malaysia Intercontinental is Malaysia's very own Tourism/Beauty Pageant was first organized in 2004, and held in Kuching city, Sarawak with the main aim of bringing peoples of various races and communities from all over Malaysia to converge, to share common values, to foster friendship and understanding, to celebrate the stunning diversity of human culture, and to search for the Malaysia's best ambassadresses to promote Malaysia in furtherance of tourism, international goodwill and cultures, and to represent Malaysia at the Miss Tourism Intercontinental - World Grand Final.

A total of 18 beauties will be selected based on their beauty, personality, intelligent and knowledge in tourism of Malaysia and their respective States from all States in Malaysia including Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Labuan to participate at the Miss Tourism Malaysia Intercontinental.

The winner will have an opportunity of a life time to dawn the prestigious tiara of Miss Tourism Malaysia Intercontinental, to be the Tourism Ambassadresses of Malaysia, and to represent Malaysia at the Miss Tourism Intercontinental - World Grand Final.
